Welcome to the ALL NEW Wallasey Junior Football League Website

WELCOME to the NEW web site of the

WALLASEY JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE.

Our Aims

It is our aim this coming season to promote the Wallasey Junior Football League as much as possible. By publishing Fixtures, Results and League Tables as and when possible. News and views, good or bad, on what is happening to Junior Football and Mini Soccer with in the Wirral area will also be posted when possible.

As the grass roots of football in this country, the eyes of the powers that be reign down on Junior Football and Mini Soccer. When things are seen to be wrong in Senior Football it is always the Junior Leagues that they try to put things right first. In the hope that our young players will mature into a more professionally minded player that remembers the virtues that we are expected to instill into them. We as a League are committed to following this path as an example to all, we hope to prove that Football can be played in a fair manner and still be enjoyed 100%.

Our Profile

The aim of the Wallasey Junior Football League is to provide organized football for children in the age range of 11 to 16 year olds irrespective of class, colour, creed or religion. Football is played on local council and education pitches within the Laws of the game and in accordance with the recommendations of the Football Association.

The Wallasey Junior Football League last season reorganized the League format and available facilities to accommodate small sided games for Under 10’s. Senior Officers were in constant touch with both Local Councils and the County Football Association for both their assistance and guidance during that time..

The Wallasey Junior Football League is affiliated to the Cheshire County Football Association.

There are currently 29 Clubs running 100 teams in the League with more than 1700 player registrations.

The Wallasey Junior Football League are currently working towards being awarded the Football Associations Charter Mark for football excellence.

If you have been a previous visitor you will have seen details of who we are and what we hope to achieve in the future. It was hoped that we would keep you up to date on results and fixtures as well as keeping you informed of any changes within our League. For various reasons we were unable to do this.

This season it is hoped that we can administer this site more frequently and insert fixtures, results and league tables, as we had hoped  last season.

Thank you for Logging On, We hope you enjoy and feel the need to send us your comments. Please enjoy the NEW site and remember it is still in the building stage.
